The CNN Studio Tour

I am a bit of a newsie, though we don't typically have cable. When we do I prefer to watch CNN, so I was very excited to have the opportunity to tour the CNN studio. My husband is currently finishing his senior capstone project for his masters in engineering management so I took all of the children out every day in Atlanta by myself. The CNN tour proved to be challenging because it is a 50 minute tour with a lot of steps, no bathrooms, no strollers, and a lot of being quiet! I also think it could be a bit dull for children.
We were able to see everything from behind the scenes and witnessed a live broadcast from the weekend reporter Fredeca Whitfield. A funny story is that my 4 year old sometimes has accidents so when he says he has to go potty, that means right away! At the end of the tour he told me he had to go potty and we rushed off to leave and got surrounded by security. Apparently it is a big deal to walk around unattended on the working floors. After being ushered from officer to officer we were on the grind floor and free! I was quite realived honestly. We had a nice picnic lunch in the cafe and them left for the next adventure.

To be continued...
