After leaving Savannah we made one last trip to Chalrlesron SC, so my husband could check out of his command and take care of some other minor details before we officially left for good!
It was super hot there also, and we stayed at the KOA (kampgrpunds of America-not sure why it is spelled with a K). There was a nice pool at this site so we used the pool a lot! The great thing is that my six year old learned to swim at this site! This means I now have more swimmer than non swimmer and is a huge help. One of these days we will be a beach family, but I am kind of freaked out by the ocean until my children can mostly all swim.
After our short trip here, we packed up the car and got on the road for a 14
hour trip to Philadelphia PA!
